The PROGRESS Program is a collaboration between Bucks County Juvenile Court and Youth Services Agency. The ultimate goal is to work together with the communities of Bucks County to promote and achieve the goals of balanced and restorative justice.

By striving to meet the needs of communities, victims, and juvenile offenders, Bucks County Juvenile Court and Youth Services Agency look forward to continuing a unique parnership and working together to have a positive impact on the well being of communities and future generations of Bucks County.

Service-learning is defined as a community service activity that involves both an educational component and the opportunity to provide direct service to others.

New research (July 2006- National Youth Leadership Council) has determined that adults who engaged in service-learning during their teenaged years are more likely than their peers to be politically and socially connected to their communities. Service-learning has a strong impact on youth-adult transition and a long-term effect on civic engagement.
